Spot & Skin Tag Removal

About Electrodessication
Electrodessication is a quick and efficient procedure used to remove small moles and skin tags. Prior to the treatment, a local anesthetic is applied topically. You relax for 30-60 minutes and then the moles or skin tags are desiccated (heated and dried up) with a special electrosurgical instrument. Pain during treatment is minimal.
The treatment requires no down time. After treatment, you will need to apply sun protection on the treated areas. There will be darkening and scaling of the treated areas but this should go away in about a week. Multiple treatments may be necessary to achieve desired results.
